The Savvy Shopper’s Meal Planner #1

It’s a month today since my cookbook came out, and I’ve been completely blown away by all of the messages I’ve received from you, saying how much you like the recipes and the weekly meal planner in the front of the book…, to say thank you, I thought I’d do you another meal planner!

This time it’s 7 days, 7 dinners, each to feed 4 people. (Hence the #7daysofsavvy) All of the recipes from the meal planner are from my cookbook and all of them are easy, delicious and pretty quick. I’ve done 3 other 7 day meal plans…so if you’re looking for a bit of variation, there’s also Meal plan 2 and Meal plan 3 and for something a bit different there’s a Vegetarian meal plan

Below I have included my Aldi receipt for all of the ingredients (which came to £31.39*…and you will have lots of bits left, to carry over to next week) a printable meal plan (which includes tips/changes on each of the recipes to make your shop go further) and your printable Aldi shopping list for all of the ingredients you’ll need. ( I have left spaces for you to add any extras you might need to add, for your lunches and breakfasts etc)

*The eagle eyed amongst you may notice that courgettes and fresh Basil are missing from the receipt. I live in a popular holiday spot and decided to go shopping just after the Bank Holiday…..needless to say that the shelves were a little bare. These 2 ingredients are going to add a couple more pounds to your final total 😉

So here is the 7 day meal plan…..hopefully there is something for everyone…..with the cost working out at less than £5 per meal, with food leftover….you can’t really go wrong!

When you click on the Meal Plan and Shopping List links below, you will need to save them before you are able to print them out.

Weekly Meal Plan

Next up, is the shopping list. Just click on it to download, print it out and head to Aldi! There are a small amount of store cupboard items that you’re going to need, (i’ve added this to the bottom of the list) but most people will have these already – oil for frying, some dried herbs and spices and a couple of tablespoons of flour)

Weekly Shopping List

I am really looking forward to finding out how you get on with this! If you give it a go, share any photos with #7daysofsavvy on your social media!!
